About the Role
We re looking for a strategic yet hands-on Product Director to lead the growth of our Embedded Finance platform enabling clients to integrate financial capabilities like payments, payouts, and account services directly into their digital ecosystems. You ll drive product strategy, roadmap execution, and delivery in partnership with engineering, sales, and key customers.
 
Core Responsibilities
Define and own the product vision and roadmap for core embedded finance APIs (e.g., pay-ins, payouts, digital wallets, account creation, A2A/pay-by-bank).
Translate market and client needs into clear product requirements and prioritized releases.
Partner with Engineering to deliver high-quality, scalable APIs and features on schedule.
Work closely with GTM, Partnerships, and Client Success to enable adoption and launch readiness.
Monitor KPIs such as product usage, adoption, uptime, and revenue contribution.
Stay abreast of fintech and regulatory trends influencing embedded finance and merchant ecosystems.
 
Must-Have Skills & Experience
12+ years of product management experience, including 8+ years in payments or fintech.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and ship API-based financial products.
Strong understanding of money movement, including ACH, card payments, pay-ins or payouts.
Excellent stakeholder communication and comfort managing complex, multi-party initiatives.
Data-driven decision-maker; able to use insights to guide roadmap and prioritization.
Familiarity with compliance, risk, and controls relevant to financial products (PCI, KYC/AML).
 
Add-Ons (Nice-to-Have)
Experience with merchant acquiring, embedded banking, or Finxact / Carat platforms.
Background in API developer experience or platform ecosystems.
Exposure to international payment systems or cross-border flows.
Previous P&L ownership or commercial modeling experience.
Knowledge of AI/data tools for product optimization and fraud detection.
