Responsibilities:

  • Define and document the current and future-state technical architecture across CMS, Commerce, PIM, DAM, OMS, and surrounding enterprise systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend tier-aligned platform solutions (e.g., Adobe Commerce, VTEX, Shopify Plus, Commercetools) based on scale, complexity, and brand needs.
  • Lead the development of a modular, scalable reference architecture to support phased brand re-platforming strategies.
  • Drive the data strategy workstream by:
    • Mapping data flows across CMS, Commerce, ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms.
    • Defining ownership and governance models for structured/unstructured data.
    • Outlining migration and transformation approaches in alignment with target-state architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess platform feasibility, integration constraints, and tech stack readiness.
  • Support strategic cost modeling, technology selection tradeoffs, and sprint-phase roadmap development.

Background:

  • 8-12 years of experience in enterprise digital architecture with strong grounding in eCommerce ecosystems and multi-brand portfolios.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in composable/headless architectures, including AEM, Sitecore, Shopify Plus, and PIM/DAM integrations.
  • Proficient in data architecture, transformation, and governance across MarTech, CMS, ERP, and commerce domains.
  • Familiarity with modern CDP, personalization engines, and cloud-native integration patterns (e.g., microservices, APIs).
  • Prior experience working with design-forward, luxury, or lifestyle brands and navigating global digital standards is a plus.
  • Strong communicator with a track record of leading architecture discovery, platform selection, and roadmap development.
