Job Overview:

A high-impact opportunity is available for a GNC Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and validation of advanced missile flight simulation systems. This role involves working with high-fidelity models, developing flight code, and optimizing guidance and control algorithms for complex aerospace systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and validate missile flight simulators
  • Design and implement guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms
  • Create and maintain interface documentation (ICDs, IRSs, IDDs)
  • Participate in international partner meetings and review GNC workshare requirements
  • Model hardware components and integrate them into simulation environments

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year, or PhD
  • Active and current U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance
  • Experience with autopilot design for guided missiles
  • Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and Python
  • Experience with high-fidelity missile simulations and GNC algorithm development
  • U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hypersonic missile systems
  • Familiarity with AEGIS weapon system integration
  • Experience in infrared (IR) discrimination and tracking
  • Experience with interceptor target state estimation and missile raid/salvo guidance optimization

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $130.00/hr.
