Job Overview:
A high-impact opportunity is available for a GNC Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and validation of advanced missile flight simulation systems. This role involves working with high-fidelity models, developing flight code, and optimizing guidance and control algorithms for complex aerospace systems.

A high-impact opportunity is available for a GNC Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and validation of advanced missile flight simulation systems. This role involves working with high-fidelity models, developing flight code, and optimizing guidance and control algorithms for complex aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and validate missile flight simulators
- Design and implement guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms
- Create and maintain interface documentation (ICDs, IRSs, IDDs)
- Participate in international partner meetings and review GNC workshare requirements
- Model hardware components and integrate them into simulation environments
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year, or PhD
- Active and current U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance
- Experience with autopilot design for guided missiles
- Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and Python
- Experience with high-fidelity missile simulations and GNC algorithm development
- U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hypersonic missile systems
- Familiarity with AEGIS weapon system integration
- Experience in infrared (IR) discrimination and tracking
- Experience with interceptor target state estimation and missile raid/salvo guidance optimization
