Title - Mechanical Design Engineer
Location - Elkhart, Indiana (onsite only)
Experience 7 to 10 years
Salary as per the market standard
Job Description:
- 7+ years in Creating Surface models using SolidWorks surface modeling/solid modeling techniques
- Create 3D Design & Detailing based on Input from Industrial Design team
- Create and revise part and assembly drawings
- Check dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of parts to each other, and relation of various parts to the whole system
- Produce drawings, layouts, and/or diagrams from sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, design concepts and/or verbal instructions
- Ensure all necessary documentation is complete such as engineering prints and related products specifications to allow successful transfer to manufacturing.
