Role Overview

Provide L2/L3 support for QAD SE 2014 across Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, and Shipping modules, ensuring production stability and business continuity. Execute incident management, data corrections, and support month-end/quarter-end/year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incident & Request Management: Triage, troubleshoot, resolve, and document incidents, service requests, and problems with clear RCA.

  • QAD Support: Handle user access reviews, master data support (Items, BOMs, Routings, Sites, Suppliers, Customers), and data corrections using approved procedures.

  • Patches & Upgrades: Coordinate minor releases, service packs, and patches; manage Test environments, deployment plans, and UAT sign-offs.

  • Integration & Reporting: Analyze/fix interface errors, support reporting/forms (QAD Browse Reporting, ad-hoc extracts).

  • Continuous Improvement: Reduce repeat incidents, propose configuration/data/process improvements, and ensure ITIL adherence.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with vendors, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders; provide status reporting and attend meetings.

Technical / Functional Skills

  • QAD SE 2014 (essential)

  • Modules: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution

  • Technical: Progress OpenEdge (ABL/4GL), QAD .NET UI, ServiceNow (ticketing)

  • Functional: Manufacturing, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, basic GL awareness

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills

  • Ability to work under pressure during critical business windows

  • Independent, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively

Desired / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with QAD SCM and MFG enhancements

  • Exposure to vendor and cross-functional coordination
