Payrate: $38.00 - $39.00/hr.

Summary:
The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
  • Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
  • Review contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements.
  • Set up project and work breakdown structures.
  • Establish and document business processes.
  • Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
  • Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.

Qualifications:
  • 4 year degree (bachelor s degree) with a minimum of 5 years experience and/or over 8 years work experience in systems.
  • Compliance experience (in SAP GTS would be a major plus).
  • SAP CRM & GTS Systems
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Effective at leading change with cross-functional groups.
  • Root Cause Corrective Action preferably using a structured methodology like 6 Sigma / LEAN.
  • Experience gathering and defining business requirements.
  • Experience writing functional requirement documents for IT.
  • Experience communicating with IT and understanding detailed IT requirements.
  • Process ownership experience.
  • Ability to write and follow detailed process documents.
  • Project leadership experience.
  • General Parts Distribution system and process knowledge.
  • General understanding of classifications.
  • SQL and familiarity with Snowflake.

    Desired Skills:
    • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage one s time.
    • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
    • Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
    • Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
    • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.

    Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $38.00 - $39.00 /hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
