Job Description
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Math or a related quantitative discipline

Required Skills:
- At least 3 years of relevant analytic experience
- Prior experience working with ERP systems (SAP), CRM (Salesforce) and data reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and expert level data visualization and dashboarding experience
- Highly detail oriented and proficient in wrangling data from disparate sources and developing reports/dashboards that provide actionable insights
- Ability to analyze business processes and make recommendations to ensure automated rather than manual reporting solutions
- Demonstrated ability to curate data and develop reports/dashboards to provide actionable insights
- Detail oriented with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL.
- Experience working as an analyst in a product, marketing or sales organization

Preferred Skills:
- Highly organized, independent and self-motivated, committed to deliver consistent, accurate and high-quality work products
- Strong critical thinking skills with an ability to clearly and concisely communicate key ideas, both verbally and in writing
- Foundational project management understanding with some experience acting as liaison between business and technical teams.

IT Business Analyst Overview:
Digital Farming Solutions at Bayer Crop Science seeking a Business Analyst to collaborate with Commercial and Marketing teams to support the execution of global commercial strategies. The Business Analyst will work with key stakeholders and cross functional teams to derive insights that influence decision making and improve business performance. This includes exploratory analysis of large data sets, identification of metrics/KPIs, creation of reports, storytelling and development & maintenance of data analytic processes and systems.

Responsibilities:
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with global, Commercial stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide support in the form of quick data insights, dashboards and reports.
- Responsible for the diagnosis, monitoring and highlighting gaps in the data lifecycle and critical systems to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
- Responsible for documenting data quality issues and subsequent quality requirements within Jira tickets for responsible teams.
- Responsible for ensuring data ingested into the business data warehouse fulfills Commercial reporting needs, with a focus on reconciliation between source and target systems, dimension definition, metric development and overall data availability.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data collected by FieldView and other sources and provide support to global teams advising them on data processes and related systems.
- Support the development of reporting solutions by interpreting business requirements and delivering innovative solutions (automated/ad-hoc reporting) to address them. Assist with storytelling by creating content that helps to visualize and interpret data trends.
- Develop content within the data visualization / business intelligence tools and serve as a subject matter expert with respect to data sources and dashboard creation.
- Collaborates with the team and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner and ensure root-cause analysis to prevent recurrent errors.
- Develop new insights and analyses to help the business to make informed decisions.
