Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Business Rules Analyst. Having a strong background in business rules analysis and design, specifically with rules engines such as Drools or Blaze.

As a Business Rules Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing existing business rule flows related to Pricing, Fees, and Compliance. You ll work closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into rule logic, and validate rules using internal processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform design and analysis of business rules, beyond just implementation or coding.

Translate complex business requirements into rules-based logic.

Collaborate with business teams to support rules for Pricing, Fees, and Compliance domains.

Use internal tools and processes to validate and support rule development.

Consult on complex projects and deliver insights that drive rule optimization and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Business Systems Data or Business Systems Design, or equivalent (consulting, military, education, or training).

Strong experience with Business Rules Engines such as Drools or Blaze (design and delivery).

Experience supporting existing business rule flows and designing new ones.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in regulated environments (finance, healthcare, etc.).

Understanding of compliance-related rules and logic design.

Familiarity with rules validation tools and structured testing approaches.
