Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Expert at Lead/Architect level to design, lead, and deliver large-scale retail and e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Salesforce Commerce Cloud while also serving as a strategic leader capable of defining best practices, guiding multiple teams, and presenting solutions to leadership stakeholders. This role requires exceptional communication skills, deep technical expertise, and proven success in retail/e-commerce implementations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end design and development of enterprise-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions from the ground up.
  • Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and best practices for SFCC implementations.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, customer-facing commerce solutions.
  • Drive large-scale retail/e-commerce projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering superior user experience.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, reusable components, and performance optimization strategies for Commerce Cloud.
  • Integrate Salesforce Commerce Cloud with ERP, CRM, OMS, and third-party applications to enable seamless omni-channel experiences.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations, solution roadmaps, and project plans, showcasing value to leadership and business teams.
  • Mentor and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring quality delivery and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and e-commerce industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce platforms, with at least 5+ years in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C).
  • Proven expertise in large-scale, customer-facing retail/e-commerce implementations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SFCC backend (ISML, pipelines/controllers, cartridges, APIs) and front-end frameworks.
  • Experience integrating SFCC with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, OMS, Payment Gateways, Marketing Systems).
  • Solid understanding of scalability, security, and performance optimization in large e-commerce ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive design decisions, and enforce best practices.
  • Strong project planning and execution skills, with a customer-first approach.
  • Retail domain experience is mandatory; knowledge of omni-channel retail, personalization, and digital commerce strategies is highly desirable.
