Job Title: Workday Architect
Location: Beverly Hills, CA Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week)

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Architect to lead and optimize their Workday HCM ecosystem. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on professional who thrives on designing scalable Workday solutions, partnering with business and IT stakeholders, and ensuring best practices for configuration, integration, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design, development, and deployment of Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, and other modules as needed.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
- Develop and maintain Workday roadmaps, solution architecture diagrams, and integration designs.
- Oversee Workday integrations with third-party systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Provide technical leadership for configuration, custom reports, calculated fields, EIBs, Studio, and Workday Extend as needed.
- Serve as the SME for Workday functionality, staying current with new features and recommending improvements or enhancements.
- Ensure Workday design aligns with data privacy and governance standards.
- Support system testing, UAT, and cutover activities for new implementations or enhancements.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and guide junior team members and support teams as needed.
- Collaborate with external Workday partners and vendors as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in HRIS, with at least 5+ years in a dedicated Workday Architect or Lead role.
- Strong expertise in Workday HCM configuration, integrations, reporting, and security.
- Proven experience with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Absence, and Time Tracking.
- Experience designing and implementing complex Workday integrations using EIB, Studio, Connectors, and other Workday integration tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday data structures and reporting (Advanced/Composite Reporting).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional discussions and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Prior experience in large-scale Workday deployments and upgrades is preferred.
