Education and Experience »
The top 3 skills needed are:
- Logistics/Material flow/Line side Planning/Supply Chain Planning experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work in a cross functional role.
Must have :
- Material flow or Line side Planning experience, Analytical, Proficient in MS Excel tool, Cross functional work experience and is a quick learner.
Nice to have skills:
- Ability to understand and communicate in German (not mandatory).
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs lineside planning and material flow planning to integrate new product content in support of the company targets.
- Plans and implements new supermarkets and commissioning processes.
- Performs time analysis using BMW SD and LPP tool to determine headcount and equipment for new/changed processes.
- Investigates, improves, and stabilizes overall material flow processes in support of company targets.
- Develops regular status reports and indicators to measure assigned work activity.
- Leads cross-functional project teams and other special tasks associated with projects.
- Coordinates all required activities regarding parts provision and supermarkets.
- Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
- Performs quantitative and qualitative evaluations, considering impact to logistics costs and structure.
- Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
