Piper Companies is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join a leader in the consumer goods manufacturing industry for a full-time, hybrid contract position located in Greensboro, NC. The Compensation Analyst will analyze market trends, benchmark compensation data, and support the design of equitable salary structures and job frameworks while managing key compensation programs like the employee stock purchase plan.

Responsibilities of the Compensation Analyst include:
- Conduct market benchmarking using survey data platforms like PayScale, Mercer's MarketPay, and Willis Towers Watson
- Assist in designing and evaluating job architecture, salary structures, and pay ranges
- Review job descriptions to ensure alignment within leveling frameworks
- Manage and administer the employee stock purchase plan
- Analyze market trends and pay equity data to support compensation recommendations
Qualifications for the Compensation Analyst include:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related role
- Proficiency in benchmarking survey tools (e.g., PayScale, MarketPay, Willis Towers Watson) and salary structures
- Strong data analysis skills, including Excel (Pivot Tables) and familiarity with statistical tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to conduct compensation surveys
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field
Compensation for the Compensation Analyst:
- Salary Range: $35 - $40/hour
