Job Details

Description
The IT Support Specialist is an integral member of the IT team. The role uses technical and customer service skills to perform and coordinate service-oriented desktop support for the organization, including building, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting both desktop hardware and software technologies.
IT Help Desk
Solve technical issues submitted by staff relating to computer workstations, email, printers, user accounts, passwords, etc., promptly and in a professional manner.
Provide strong customer service skills, demonstrating patience and follow through when working with end users.
Support
Provide at-elbow training and consultation to staff regarding applications and hardware use, best practices, organization standards, and configurations.
Address reported issues, responding in a timely and courteous manner, troubleshooting issues through resolution.
Implementation and Maintenance
Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, update and optimize the following:
o Telephone devices
o Workstations
o Peripherals
o Networked devices
Process new and departing employees' workstations, phones, and administrative user account information.
Support the implementation, evaluation, and modification of applications and hardware that support our clients operations.
Apply knowledge of computer science and information science to optimize our clients operations.
Training
Maintain and provide employee training program for our clients security and privacy policies.
Support training programs for hardware and administrative applications, creating, guides, operating manuals, and testing materials as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
