For Term: Through 6/30/26, with possible extension, based on excellence in work provided, need and budget availability.
Telecommuting: For resources that do not reside within the Tallahassee area, 100% remote work is authorized. Selected candidate would be required to be onsite to onboard for a short period. The Department does not cover expenses (travel, food, etc.) related to onsite onboarding. Resources that reside within the Tallahassee area must work in the office Monday through Friday. Flexibility to work hours between 7:00 AM & 7:00 PM and/or Saturdays, either on a rotation or as part of a regular and on-call work schedule.
Scope of Services: The selected candidate will be assigned to the Office of Information Technology serving the business unit s needs with respect to documenting critical business processes, analyzing current business functions for effectiveness and efficiency opportunities, assisting in process redesign, assisting in development and testing. Duties may include analyzing financial systems and dependent business processes and assisting in re-engineering in areas impacted by an ongoing business transformation. Duties may also include development, maintenance and subject matter expert for applications dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented.
Primary Job Duties / Tasks: The submitted candidate must be able to perform the following duties and/or tasks. Duties of the selected candidate will include, but not be limited to:
