Job Details

MTSI is accepting applications for a future need to hire a Kill-Chain Systems Analyst with modeling and simulation experience to provide expertise for multi-domain defense simulation development and testing. The person in this position will support model and analysis tool development in addition to conducting detailed analysis. and would require onsite support in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline (i.e., engineering, mathematics, physics).
  • 5 years' experience supporting modeling and simulation of sensor, weapon and/or threat systems.
  • Must have an Active secret clearance; ship required.
  • Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems.
  • Capable of performing analysis to measure key system performance metrics and verify model behavior utilizing ground and flight test data.
  • Ability to create, test, and debug rudimentary scripts, MATLAB, Python, and C++ programs.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and an ability to function in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to author various types of project documentation.
  • Prior experience supporting a major defense acquisition program in a high-visibility environment with mission-critical responsibilities.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Master of Science degree.
  • 10 years' experience supporting modeling and simulation of sensor, weapon and/or threat systems.
  • Experience working with the AFSIM simulation framework is highly desired.
  • Experience modeling and analyzing RF and IR-based engagements of aircraft and countermeasures.
  • Proven ability to perform hi-fidelity operational system analysis in order to quantify sensor, weapon system, and kill chain effectiveness and system survivability assessments.
  • Experience developing briefings and presenting analysis results to high-level government customers to help them in their decision-making processes.
