Description In this role, you will: Design and implement new features for Apple Pay. Analyze requirements, identify gaps and translate them into a technical design. Write robust, maintainable Java/Kotlin code that is performant, testable and scalable). Collaborate with the product and business team to work on current and future initiatives. Work directly with the iOS client team on feature definition and development. Design specifications and protocols to tackle novel problems. Take ownership of your service through its lifecycle, contributing to a collaborative DevOps culture.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience of building scalable distributed systems
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Scala, Kotlin and/or others
  • Knowledge of concurrency control, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with databases (NoSQL / RDBMS), messaging brokers and stream processing platforms like Kafka
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
  • Interest in fintech and curiosity about the financial data ecosystem.
  • Self-motivated with strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience working in agile or evolving product environments.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
