Requirements
Technical Expertise
- 3+ years hands-on experience with health plan data and operations
- Strong SQL proficiency and database management experience
- Data visualization expertise using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- End-to-end data flow mapping experience across complex healthcare systems
- Business case writing with ROI analysis capabilities
Healthcare Domain Knowledge
- Deep understanding of claims processing workflows from submission to payment
- Knowledge of health plan core systems (enrollment, claims engines, provider networks)
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, X12, EDI transactions)
- Understanding of quality measures (HEDIS, Star Ratings, CMS reporting requirements)
- Experience with member enrollment and eligibility processes
Business Skills
- Client-facing experience with ability to facilitate workshops and requirements gathering
- Project management capabilities managing multiple concurrent deliverables
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation and business proposals
