VP of IT- NetSuite Focused.  The VP is responsible for the development and execution of the enterprise wide technology vision and strategy. The individual will collaborate with the executive team as a partner strategizing on business value and growth. The VP will demonstrate leadership and expertise in business transformation, continuous process improvement and project management. The individual will have a service-first-oriented approach in establishing a business focused and performance-driven IT team and culture.

RESULTS AND EXPECTATIONS: .

  • Develops and communicates strategies to provide efficient, scalable and robust technology solutions
  • Provides direction with NetSuite platform to arrive at Company strategic goals.
  • Understands the needs of the “customer," which would be internal and external users. Blends this understanding with business processes for the improvement of IT.
  • Business Solutions Improvement – proactively seeks out opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish and leverage an IT Steering Committee to set technology and application priorities together with the business.
  • Ability to breakdown business processes for improvement utilizing various techniques and technologies.
  • Establish and follow a process to assign prioritization to IT priorities based on alignment to business strategy and value delivered. Act as the lead interface between business and IT organization to ensure that performance and business objectives are met and delivered on time.
  • Oversee management of budgets, costs and resources and negotiates the vendor supply agreements and vendor contracts.  
  • Strong business process reengineering skills with a focus on improving end-to-end operational processes.
  • Manage third party partnerships with IT suppliers.
  • Aware of emerging technologies and translate implications of the new technology into an effective and appropriate technology vision.
  • Establish and manage processes that are responsive to resolving user reported issues and maintains and improves system/network operational performance.
  • Understands operational systems to provide direction, guidance and productivity enhancements.
  • Select, develop and motivate a team with the skills to lead, design, develop and support technology and services that meet business objectives while satisfying the cost criteria.
  • Provide mentoring and leadership to the organization, client, and junior members of the organization and serves as a role model.
  • Promote teamwork, within own group, across technology and across the organization.
  • Policy development and control, implementation and monitoring of data accuracy.
  • Establish an information security program to ensure protection of company information (including privileged/confidential and personal information), the company network and user computers/devices.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business with emphasis in IT or Computer Science
  • 7 - 10 years of technology leadership experience
  • Experience in retail, consumer brands industries and processes and have familiarity of Lean/Six Sigma, business process improvement
  • Experience in budgeting and vendor negotiations
  • Experience in automating sales, accounting, procurement, and operations planning, project management 
  • Experience in Operation Technologies i.e., warehouse/distribution technologies, Supply and Demand Planning, inventory
  • Experience with Information Security

PREFFERED SKILLS

  • Demonstrated skills in NetSuite 
  • Experience in NetSuite Analytics, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft C#, and code review.
  • Strong communicator
  • Leadership experience in transforming business processes facilitating cross-functional teams through project management methodologies/tools
  • Proven performance management skills
  • Requires demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple technology projects on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of business and emerging technology trends.
