Job Description:

Job Title: Email Developer - HTML/CSS & Campaign Production

Location: Richmond, VA - Remote allowed

Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Email Developer to support the growing demand for email and banner production within our Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality, brand-aligned digital communications while relieving internal creative resources to focus on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and update HTML-based email templates using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Apply inline CSS and responsive design principles to ensure cross-platform compatibility.

Interpret design specifications and adjust layout, padding, spacing, and color values directly in code.

Ensure brand consistency by adhering to established fonts, colors, and layout standards.

Collaborate with designers and project managers to execute campaign assets accurately and on time.

Manage tasks through Workfront, responding to tickets and uploading proofs for review.

Support light QA to ensure visual and functional accuracy before final approval.

Assist with banner production using tools like Photoshop and Illustrator (no original asset creation required).

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email development.

Experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar ESPs.

Strong attention to detail and a "design eye" for layout, spacing, and visual alignment.

Familiarity with Workfront or other ticketing/project management systems.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator for minor banner adjustments.

Understanding of email QA best practices and accessibility standards.

Prior experience supporting marketing or creative teams in a corporate environment.
