| Location: Onsite at 8220 N 23rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021 Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced Claims Configuration Technical Analyst to support Enrollment Applications at BCBSAZ. The role involves collaborating with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to manage configuration, data mapping (EDI Eligibility), Open Enrollment processes, and ACA (Exchange) requirements. The analyst will define UAT scope, validate testing, manage release notes, and ensure compliance with corporate, industry, and government standards. Key Responsibilities: Analyze business needs, document requirements, and develop process flows for Enrollment, Eligibility, and Premium Billing functions. Create/modify data mapping for input and output Eligibility feeds and perform reconciliation. Lead business analysis activities, including impact analysis, traceability, and documentation. Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT); author UAT documentation and manage defect resolution. Evaluate and recommend business solutions to IT and business leadership. Support operational teams with production issues and drive process improvements. Track project progress, identify risks, and communicate status updates to leadership. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Mandatory Skills: Strong Claims, ITS/BlueCard, and HRP experience. Expertise in Enrollment business functions (Group & Member), Open Enrollment processes, and ACA processes. Extensive knowledge of EDI Eligibility & Billing transactions and data mapping. SQL query skills and experience with Eligibility feed reconciliation. Working knowledge of MetaVance application. Agile methodology and MS Azure DevOps familiarity. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5 7 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis or related functions. Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in project management practices. Nice-to-have: Exceptional communication skills and leadership capabilities. |
