Job title: Release Manager-CIO Org
Duration: 06 months
Location: Remote
Preferred 3-6 years release management (or equivalent project/program management or delivery lead) experience in an enterprise IT software development environment. Independently perform the following functions across multiple releases or one large release, and drive improvements within specific areas. Drive planning & delivery of high-quality enterprise software releases. Manage release schedules and milestones. Assemble and lead multiple cross-functional teams to support releases of varying size, complexity and duration. Collaborate and manage release processes across all functions within IT and with business stakeholders Manage change control processes for the release. Continuously improve release processes. Implement best practices consistent with an agile development methodology. Define and manage release readiness and success criteria based on business requirements. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and remove obstacles to release Guide the completion of root cause analysis to ensure issues do not recur. Perform environment planning, provisioning, and management required to support the releases Provide oversight for deployment of releases into production environments through ensuring release readiness and adequate deployment runlist handoff to Service Delivery. Communicate plans and status, and escalate issues as required. Experiences working with technology and implementations for two (2) or more of the following enterprise IT platforms: Salesforce.com, Oracle E-Business Suite, integration platforms, BI-EDW, Hadoop, and Adobe Experience Manager.Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve issues in creative and effective ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
Pay Range: $45 - $50/hr.
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
