Job Title: Audit Manager / Staff Auditor
Location: Wisconsin (Local Candidates Only On-Site Fieldwork Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hybrid
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager or Staff Auditor to join a dynamic and growing accounting team. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in public accounting and external client audits. You ll be responsible for leading assurance engagements across various industries while contributing to a collaborative, client-focused work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute audits, reviews, compilations, compliance audits, and special projects.
- Supervise and mentor engagement teams to deliver work on time and within budget.
- Prepare financial statements, disclosures, and related client communications.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and identify additional service opportunities.
- Implement and interpret new accounting/auditing standards.
- Support professional development through evaluations and coaching.
- Lead training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement within the assurance team.
- Coordinate with oversight agencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Current CPA license (or CPA-eligible for Staff Auditors).
- Minimum of 4 years of audit experience in a public accounting
- Proficiency in GAAP and GAAS standards (GAS experience is a plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and client-facing abilities.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and audit/accounting software.
Nice to Have
- Experience with governmental audits and ERISA audits.
- Familiarity with industries such as healthcare, real estate, construction, manufacturing, and the arts.

- Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).
