Trainer Level II
Schedule/Shift: Full-time, on-site with some travel required (10-25%). 17 months contract.

Cedar Park Group is hiring a Trainer Level II to support instructional design and training delivery across various systems and programs.

Position Overview:

The Trainer Level II will lead the creation of engaging, accessible, and outcomes-based training content. This role will design and deliver training in multiple formats live, on-demand, and eLearning ensuring diverse audiences have the knowledge and tools to adapt to new technologies and processes. The position includes some travel (10 25%) throughout New York State, which may involve overnight stays.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop instructional materials using adult learning principles and instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom s Taxonomy, etc.).

  • Create SCORM-compliant eLearning modules, on-demand videos, interactive guides, and blended learning resources.

  • Manage instructional design projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with program objectives.

  • Collaborate with SMEs and project leaders to gather content and validate materials.

  • Ensure all materials meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance).

  • Utilize LMS platforms for course development, tracking, and reporting.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through formative and summative assessments, KPIs, and learner feedback.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 4 7 years of hands-on experience as a Trainer, including content creation and delivery across multiple audiences and technologies.

  • Experience developing content for various mediums print, eLearning, video, and job aids.

  • Strong proficiency in instructional design methodologies and eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, SLMS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 7 years experience in Health and Human Services programs.

  • 4 7 years experience creating and evaluating assessments to measure learner comprehension.

  • Experience applying Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for inclusive learning.

  • Certification in instructional design, eLearning development, or adult learning strategies (ATD CPTD, Prosci, etc.).
