Description:
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) requires the services of 2 Project Managers hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Project Manager, Level 2, Emerging Technology and the specifications outlined in this document for DPS. Various technology and innovation projects that directly impact the daily operations of DPS to achieve Agency missions, goals, and objectives.

Scope of Work
The following describes the work that will be done by Project Manager Level 2:
Support current and future DPS projects and priorities in the initiation and planning of complex, diverse technology-related projects. Directly support project and development teams on various initiatives to improve agency effectiveness, compliance with applicable statutes, and enhance service delivery capabilities. Facilitate project development and quality assurance discussions.

Deliverables:
(1) Manage projects utilizing appropriate project management methodologies, conducting risk assessments, and following established tracking and reporting guidelines.
(2) Monitor project activities to ensure deliverables are acceptable, meet business and contractual requirements, and are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
(3) Communicate complex and technical business problems and requirements to agency stakeholders.
(4) Support development and implementation of various initiatives.

Work Hours and Location: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday, Hybrid schedule based on project/initiative needs, physical location as needed 5805 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752
