Job Details
Must-Have Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in mainframe development.
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL (Job Control Language), and VSAM.
- Experience with DB2 or other mainframe databases.
- Strong understanding of mainframe architecture, CICS online processing and batch processing.
- Familiarity with TSO/ISPF, Endevor, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CICS (Customer Information Control System).
- Knowledge of REXX, Assembler, or PL/I.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a mainframe environment.
- Familiarity with mainframe modernization tools or cloud migration strategies.
- Understanding of financial services, insurance, or healthcare domains.
