Job Description:
- Bachelors degree - Engineering
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- Process driven experience
- Salary 75-100K
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for plastic and polymer products.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of designs.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to plastics and polymers.
- Conduct research and stay updated on advancements in plastic and polymer technologies.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
- Train and support production staff on best practices and new technologies.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on plastics and polymers.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and material properties.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to plastics and polymers.
