Role Overview
The ServiceNow Engineer/Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role blends technical expertise with strategic planning, ensuring that ServiceNow capabilities align with business goals and IT standards.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements.
- Lead architectural reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Recommend best practices and workarounds for non-standard requirements.
Development & Configuration
- Implement features using out-of-the-box functionality and custom development where needed.
- Perform defect fixes during UAT and support deployment activities.
- Review code for adherence to industry standards and update documentation accordingly.
Integration & Extensibility
- Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
- Collaborate with Integration SMEs to ensure seamless connectivity with external systems.
Security & Access Control
- Configure roles, ACLs, and delegated development permissions.
- Manage user groups and impersonation settings.
Reporting & Analytics
- Build reports and dashboards using Performance Analytics and Next Experience Dashboards.
- Enable roadmap planning and backlog visibility through Agile reporting.
Strategic Planning
- Participate in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) setup and configuration.
- Align ServiceNow initiatives with organizational OKRs and scenario planning.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in ServiceNow modules including Agile, SPM, and Sectigo ACME integration.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Script Includes, Glide APIs, and MID Server setup.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data models, business rules, and UI policies.
- Ability to bridge technical and business requirements as a Platform Architect.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Architect.
- Experience with Infosys-managed ServiceNow environments.
