Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive complex initiatives in Florence, South Carolina (open to remote). As part of this long-term contract position, you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead team meetings and monitor project performance to ensure alignment with goals and timelines.
  • Manage the project critical path with a focus on speed and risk mitigation.
  • Identify and address schedule, technical, and cost risks proactively.
  • Prepare and present milestone reviews to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with functional managers to develop schedules and secure necessary resources.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and facilitate target setting.
  • Guide teams in developing clear and actionable project and product requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to build strong business cases and align project goals with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate change management processes as new solutions are implemented.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in new product development and commercial product delivery.
  • Proven experience in schedule and budget management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding and application of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) process groups and knowledge areas.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Experience working with suppliers and third-party vendors.
  • Solid engineering background or technical understanding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the elevator or vertical transportation industry.
  • Familiarity with IoT technologies, architecture, and protocols.
  • Experience with integration projects involving IoT systems.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret financial and performance metrics.
  • Experience in change management and guiding teams through transformation initiatives.
