Business Analyst

Position: Business Analyst

Education: Bachelor s degree or master s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or other related field is required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the educational requirement.

Required Experience:

1. Experience in document management or information governance
2. Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements

Preferred Experience:

1. Experience working with Department processes and document workflows
2. Experience analyzing IBM Content Manager systems
3. Experience working with Kofax systems
4. Experience in analysis of electronic document management system migrations
5. Experience in analysis of applications in a digital environment
6. Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making and process improvements

Responsibilities:

1. Define and document business functions and processes.
2. Document standard operating procedures, user manuals and training material, as needed.
3. Schedule, coordinate and assist with meeting.
4. Analyze and document the integration of business functions with technology.
5. Assist with business case development and business process reengineering.
6. Consult with management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs
7. and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, and input/output requirements.
8. Recommend new processes that yield operational efficiencies.
9. Conduct cost-benefit analyses.
10. Develop or assist with project work plans and project timelines.
11. Develop technical specifications and work requirements.
