Job Title: SAS AML Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAS AML Developer to design, develop, and optimize SAS-based solutions supporting our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong SAS programming expertise, a deep understanding of data workflows, and the ability to deliver high-performance solutions in a regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SAS programs using Base SAS, SAS Macro Language, and PROC SQL.
  • Configure and update user interfaces using SAS Visual Analytics or SAS Web Applications.
  • Integrate SAS applications with SAS Workflow Studio or external workflow engines to streamline AML processes.
  • Provide production support, including debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving performance issues.
  • Conduct performance tuning of SAS jobs and workflows for optimal efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with compliance and technology teams to meet AML regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage SAS Viya to modernize and scale analytics solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in SAS Base Programming, SAS Macro Language, and PROC SQL.
  • Experience with SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Workflow Studio, and SAS Viya.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in debugging and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with AML compliance frameworks and financial crime detection (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • SAS AML Developer experience.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale data and analytics environments.

Standard Software Engineering Skills

  • Full lifecycle application development.
  • Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages.
  • Software analysis, requirements gathering, and code reviews.
  • Object-Oriented Design and Analysis (OOA/OOD).
  • Software modeling, simulation, and performance tuning.
  • GUI design, testing, and quality assurance.
  • System integration, automation, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of standards compliance, localization, and globalization practices.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
