Description of Services

Based upon discussions held between Alaska Communications and APEX Systems LLC. Alaska Communications wishes to engage APEX Systems LLC to provide one (1) Information Technology Tier 1 equivalent resources to perform work under the technical direction and supervision of the Alaska Communications. The provided resources will provide services outlined in this Statement of Work. Alaska Communications anticipates this engagement will commence upon formal approval for this statement of work which is anticipated to be on or about July 2025 commencing for an estimated duration of 1,000 hours. The information systems support staff will conduct the following services at the direction of the Alaska Communications. The provided list while encompassing other tasks will be assigned on an as needed basis.

Primary Support

The purpose of this project is to provide professional Tier 1 IT Professional resource through staff augmentation to assist in troubleshooting and support of Alaska Communications end clients Information Technology Environment and End-Users.

Scope of Work:
  • The resource will perform the following Tier 1 support duties and other duties as assigned:Provide troubleshooting and manage hardware, software and/or network related issues.
  • Document, track and monitor problems and customer reported issues.
  • Installation, configuration and upgrading computing devices
  • User account management
  • Supporting MS 365 and MS Teams
  • Technical expertise with hands-on-fix work with user equipment and issues
  • Providing provisioning assistance, deprovisioning assistance and support for Windows 10 & 11
  • Provide end user desktop and end point support.


Duration:

The anticipated length of this engagement will extend for an estimated duration of 1,000 hours.

Change Control

From time-to-time scope and requirements may occur throughout the progress of this engagement. In the event a situation occurs that requires modification to the currently proposed Statement of Work related to this engagement both Apex Systems LLC, and Alaska Communications Systems Holdings, Inc. must provide approval to incorporate proposed changes. (APEX Systems LLC or Alaska Communications Systems Holdings, Inc.) must provide a Change Order to the other party in writing. The ACS Project Manager will review the Change Order and its impact on the project. If both parties agree to the Change Order, the Project Manager will incorporate the change into the project plan and manage the change accordingly.

Pricing and Charges

Consulting charges are estimated based on the project as defined in this Statement of Work. The hourly rates for this effort will be pursuant to the chart below and per standard business hour. All durations and prices quoted herein are estimates only.

Work will be billed at actual costs incurred. All services are provided during standard business hours (Monday- Friday, 8AM-5PM) Alaska Time unless otherwise states excluding company holidays. Any work done outside of this time period will be billed at one and one-half times the standard hourly rate.

Should the scope of the engagement go outside the contents of this Statement of Work and require additional consulting hours, these hours will be billed on an hourly basis to Alaska Communications at the rate pursuant to the chart below and per standard business hour. Any items that fall outside the scope of this project should be reviewed and agreed to with a written Change Order signed by APEX Systems LLC and Alaska Communications Systems Holdings, Inc. prior to starting the additional work.
