Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative VoIP Development Engineer to join our Development Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and validating next-generation VoIP solutions in a lab environment, conducting proof of concept (PoC) testing, and supporting ongoing development and review processes. The role demands a strong understanding of large-scale SIP infrastructure, Ribbon SBC/PSX systems, cloud platforms, and VoIP troubleshooting.

The role demands a strong understanding of large-scale SIP infrastructure, Ribbon SBC/PSX systems, cloud platforms, and VoIP troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement VoIP solutions.
- Conduct proof of concept (PoC) testing in lab environments to validate designs.
- Develop call routing strategies using Ribbon SBC and PSX systems.
- Troubleshoot complex SIP issues using tools like Wireshark and other VoIP analyzers.
- Support development artifacts and participate in design/code reviews.
- Integrate VoIP solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Implement and manage SIP recording, transcoding, and secure communications (TLS/SRTP).
- Contribute to WebRTC integration and support for cloud contact center platforms like Genesys.
- Perform intermediate Linux system administration tasks related to VoIP systems. Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
