Role Overview
Medica is adding an Agent force Lead to design, build, and scale AI assistants that make our Service, Care, and Provider teams faster and more accurate. You will own the Agent force roadmap on top of Salesforce Health Cloud, from use case selection through safe deployment in a HIPAA environment. This is a hands-on lead role. You will prototype, ship, measure, and iterate.
What You Will Do
- Own the Agent force strategy across Member Services, Provider Ops, and Care Management
- Convert high value workflows into safe, measurable AI agents and copilots
- Design agent orchestration, tools, and memory grounded in Medica data
- Integrate agents with Health Cloud objects and EHR or payer systems through APIs
- Stand up retrieval with guardrails to prevent hallucinations and PHI leakage
- Build evaluation harnesses and success metrics that the business trusts
- Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal on AI policies and reviews
- Lead a small squad of developers, QA, and analysts to deliver sprints on time
- Coach teams on prompt design, error handling, and human-in-the-loop flows
- Document architecture, decision logs, and playbooks for support and scale
Day 1 Stack You Will Touch
- Salesforce Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, Platform Events, CDC
- Agentforce, Einstein Trust Layer, Prompt Builder, Model Builder
- Retrieval and vector search for RAG in a HIPAA context
- Integrations through MuleSoft or Azure API Management and FHIR APIs
- CI/CD with Azure DevOps and/or Copado (Git-first workflows)
- Observability with logging, redaction, and prompt or response metrics
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years on Salesforce with at least 2 in Health Cloud or payer workflows
- Shipped AI assistants or agentic apps in production with measurable outcomes
- Strong Apex and LWC for glue code and safe tool interfaces
- Practical experience with retrieval and vector stores used for grounding
- CI/CD for Salesforce with automated test gates and promotion controls
- Comfortable explaining complex AI concepts to non-technical partners
- Local to Twin Cities or willing to be on-site regularly and convert to FTE next year
Preferred Qualifications
- Agentforce or equivalent agent frameworks at scale
- Experience integrating with payer platforms such as Facets, QNXT, Epic Payer Platform, FHIR
- Copado or DevOps Center in multi-org pipelines
- GraphQL or REST service design; secure API patterns with OAuth
- Prior work in HIPAA, SOC 2, and data redaction strategies
- Helpful Certifications: Platform Developer I, Health Cloud, MuleSoft, Copado

- 20% reduction in handle time or after-call work for targeted queues
- 30% reduction in manual knowledge lookups for supported agents
- Sub 1% PHI policy violations from AI responses across monitored traffic
- Clear runbook for support, drift checks, and quarterly model reviews
30-60-90 Plan
30 Days: Align use cases, data contracts, and security guardrails. Ship a thin slice pilot with evals.
60 Days: Expand tools and retrieval. Add human review and feedback loops. Publish dashboards.
90 Days: Productionize two more use cases. Formalize playbook and handoff model for new squads.
