Job Title: Event Project Manager
Location: Remote
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Project Manager to support the execution of large-scale cloud learning initiatives and event operations. This cross-functional role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders across Google Cloud Learning Services, Marketing, DevRel Ecosystem, Legal, Finance, and more. You will manage project plans, track deliverables, and act as the central point of contact to ensure that timelines and strategic goals are met for events and campaign launches.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project timelines and update event workstream plans as priorities shift
  • Track marketing deliverables in real-time using shared documents and dashboards
  • Serve as the primary liaison across stakeholders to ensure event milestones are achieved
  • Coordinate with teams across Google Cloud, including Consulting, DevRel, and Social/Blog/Community teams
  • Gather and triage stakeholder requests, integrating feedback and prioritization into existing project frameworks
  • Support the execution of scalable and repeatable project management processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between messaging, scheduling, and execution


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in enterprise organizations
  • 3+ years' experience in enterprise event management
  • 5+ years' combined experience in program management, product management, or consulting
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and work with distributed teams
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience managing documentation, timelines, and marketing trackers


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with marketing, content, and technical teams
  • Ability to clearly present and simplify complex updates for executives and team leads
  • Fluency with Google Workspace tools, particularly Google Sheets
  • Strong stakeholder management and organizational planning skills
  • Background in cloud, learning, or skilling projects is a plus
