Role: Cloud Architect
Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote
- Implementation experience with identity management and networking segmentation in Google Cloud Platform across multiple VPC networks and multiple projects.
- Work closely with security to monitor the company s cloud privacy.
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the needs of the company.
- Support cross-functional teams with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level.
- Support scalable networking design including high availability, redundancy, fail-over and load balancing.
- Support network security design including segmentation, encryption, logging and monitoring.
- Assessment and demonstration of new technologies; capacity planning; performance tuning.
Basic Qualifications
- Overall 10+ IT experience and 5+ years of architecture experience in designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions in Google Cloud Platform.
- Google Cloud Professional Certified.
Provision Google Cloud Platform resources via terraform.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services (i.e. Cloud Services Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Google Cloud Load Balancing, Storage, Security, Monitoring, etc.).
- Knowledge of Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, Network routing, Firewalls, ACL's, cloud IaaS components on Google Cloud Platform.
- Solid foundation in programming languages like Java, SQL, Python or Node.js.
- Expertise with containerization, orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automate provisioning of networks and access (Organization, Routes/Firewalls, IAM, Policy).
