POSITION SUMMARY

As the IGA Support Specialist you will be an integral member of the cybersecurity department while also collaborating with stakeholders across the university ecosystem, and reporting to the Manager, IGA and Directory Services . This is a full-tim e non-exempt position, eligible for all of 's fantastic Benefits + Perks . This opportunity is remote .

The IGA Support Specialist provides operational and technical support for identity governance administration (IGA) processes and tools. Monitors, maintains , and troubleshoots key areas such as LDAP group management system , group management tools, Unix user management, and identity system of record platform operations. Ensures the continuity of identity lifecycle processes and seamless functionality of critical IGA components. Supports the integration and testing of updates and changes to IGA systems. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves IGA system incidents. Develops and updates documentation for IGA processes.

The IGA Support Specialist will:

  • Provides operational and technical support for IGA processes and tools. Manages and troubleshoots LDAP group management system to ensure accurate group membership assignments and compliance. Monitors and maintains group management tools for automated LDAP Directory Service group assignments, resolving issues as they arise. Provides technical support for Unix user management, ensuring accurate identity and access configurations. Oversees the health and accuracy of the identity system of record platform, resolving any discrepancies in identity data.


  • Supports the integration and testing of updates and changes to IGA systems, maintaining operational readiness. Identifies , analyzes, and resolves IGA system incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to identity lifecycle processes. Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all IGA-related tasks .


  • Collaborates with internal teams to address identity-related requests and ensure proper implementation of access controls. Ensures timely resolution of identity related issues .


  • Develops and updates documentation for IGA processes and SOPs, providing training to stakeholders as necessary. Maintains currency with IGA tools, processes and best practices to enhance operational efficiency .

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Great candidate s for the position of IGA Support Specialist will meet the following qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in Identity and Access Management.


  • A bachelor's degree or combined experience and education as substitute for minimum education.


  • Experience with IGA tools.


  • Familiarity with provisioning and de-provisioning processes, access certifications, and compliance workflows.


  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of IGA systems (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra, LDAP Directory Service ).


  • Basic knowledge of identity governance principles, including role-based access control and segregation of duties.


  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail in supporting identity lifecycle operations.


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and an exemplary attention to detail.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Exceptional candidate s for the position of IGA Support Specialist will also bring the following qualifications or more :

  • 4 years of related experience.


  • Cyber certification (e.g., SailPoint IdentityNow Foundations, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or equivalent)


  • Familiarity with provisioning and compliance workflows


  • Experience with IGA systems


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The annual base salary range for this position is $ 47.77/ hr to $ 54.17/hr .
