TITLE: Lead Finance Systems & Transformation (Oracle FCCS and EPM)

LOCATION: REMOTE WITH TRAVEL DURING THE CONTRACT THEN ONSITE IN DEERFIELD BEACH HYBRID WHEN IT GOES PERM.

DURATION: CONTRACT TO HIRE

Description:

• We are looking for a skilled individual with a solid background in Accounts and Finance and hands-on FCCS experience. Other EPM product exp is a plus.
• FCCS is the new Oracle cloud version of the old HFM (Hyperion financial management).
• Also FCCS is part of the EPM suite, so we don t really need to worry about searching for EPM as if they have FCCS they have it.
• A career Hyperion consultant who s moved into oracle is def what we need.
• Seeking a candidate from the consulting world who is ready to stop traveling this is how the hiring manager transitioned. The role is primarily business-focused rather than IT-driven. The ideal candidate will engage in functional work, such as writing business rule calculations and transforming data for loading within the product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of Oracle EPM Essbase, while a separate data reporting team handles Power BI. The team has used Essbase for 20 years and is now transitioning to FCCS for the first time. This role will focus on both design and support, with an emphasis on FCCS planning and support.
• Utilizing additional tools like OneCloud, which is now Workiva.
• Familiarity with SQL, NetSuite, and Power BI is a plus. The ideal candidate should have an accounting background and be comfortable with business-side responsibilities.
• Experience with HFM (on-prem) is a plus.
• A strong understanding of cloud-based systems, especially FCCS, is critical. The consulting firm is currently implementing FCCS and moving away from spreadsheets, with a go-live scheduled for September.
• Prior experience in FCCS implementation will be prioritized, though candidates with HFM experience (the older system) will also be considered. Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is being replaced by Oracle FCCS.
• Experience with FCCS planning is highly desirable.
• The company is introducing Enterprise Data Management (EDM) as a new product.
• The team supports a large footprint of Essbase applications.

Lead Finance Systems & Transformation (Oracle FCCS and EPM)

We are seeking a Lead Finance Systems & Transformation (Oracle FCCS and EPM) to join our team at Client. In this role, you will work with finance, accounting, and IT associates throughout the entire technology implementation and support lifecycle. This includes design, configuration, build, testing, training, change management, go-live, and post-production support. This role will oversee the ongoing support and all aspects of Oracle FCCS system implementation and ongoing support. Also included in this role is the support of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation that provides for PBCS, EDM, and Essbase Cloud.
Responsibilities:

• Be the SME possessing broad business and technical knowledge and experience within Cloud FCCS and other Cloud EPM products.
• As an individual contributor, this individual will interact with a team of functional leaders, business partners, and technical experts and articulate how to best integrate Oracle EPM technologies to deliver superior business impact.
• Work collaboratively with members of the EPM and ERP team which includes transformation, implementation, deployment, upgrades, development, and support.
• Collaborate and maintain strong communication channels with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on Oracle EPM FCCS experience in the areas of administration, design, analysis, development, and support.
• Experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, and interfacing with business users.
• Must have complete project lifecycle experience in a Financial Consolidation Project.
• Ability to write FCCS Business Rules, develop data forms, and build financial reports based on internal stakeholder requirements.
• Must be able to articulate the consolidation process and support the consolidation methods in FCCS.
• Familiar with accounting principles around Intercompany Transactions and the close process.
• Experience with other EPM products including PBCS, Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), and EDM is a plus.
• Experience working with Workiva Wdata/Chains is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Strong skills Microsoft skills include MS Excel, PowerBI, and Power Automate.
• Must be open to adopting new technologies.
• Must have Implemented projects with Oracle FCCS (Financial Cloud and Consolidation Service) and developed artifacts starting from Metadata creation/updates, setting up Ownership module, catering to Intercompany eliminations in FCCS, designing web forms and data grids, and creating validation accounts.
• Working Knowledge of SQL Scripting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills required to partner with internal stakeholders within Corporate / BU Accounting and Finance teams
