Overview:

Our client, a global chemical manufacturing organization is seeking an Enterprise Master Data Manager to join their evolving organization.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity with HQ located in Willow Grove, PA. Candidates are required to come onsite a few times a month and be available for global travel.

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Enterprise Master Data Manager to manage and optimize integration and master data processes within ERP and adjacent enterprise applications. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity, consistency, security, and governance across key global business areas such as finance, supply chain, procurement, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the global management and governance of enterprise applications master data including ERP, CRM, PIM and PLM.
  • Manage the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data entities such as but not limited to, items, BOMs (Bill of Materials), routings, vendors, customers, regulatory, employees, and chart of accounts in D365 F&O.
  • Collaborate with business units to define and enforce data governance policies, data standards, and work instructions.
  • Lead data-related troubleshooting activities
  • Perform data cleansing, enrichment, validation, and migration activities.
  • Support ERP enhancement projects by providing expertise in master data design and configuration.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, and governance models.
  • Manage and lead Data Management Framework (DMF) tasks.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and proactively resolve data issues by enhancing the process, conducting training, or adding preventative measures.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure alignment ways of working and data structures with business needs.
  • Mentor and manage regional Master Data Stewarts that have a dotted line management structure.
  • Identify functional owners, roles and responsibilities for all MD elements.
  • Provide insight and governance to document and data security across the organization.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing data processes and workflows.
  • Create and maintain documentation for master data processes, standards, and governance models.
  • Utilize tools such as Data Management Framework (DMF), Excel Add-ins, and Power Platform, and ETL frameworks for data import/export and automation.
  • Lead and support data integrations projects between enterprise applications.
  • Ability to travel domestic and internationally up to 25%.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in master data management, preferably in an enterprise ERP environment.
  • Global experience with dangerous goods (hazardous materials) data.
  • Experience with global ERP implementation and operations.
  • Proven history of global governance of enterprise master data across multiple enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data integration tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data migration and transformation projects is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, or SQL.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., manufacturing, finance).
