Job Title: Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

 

Data Migration Architecture:

      • Design and oversee data migration processes, ensuring they align with current best practices and architecture standards.
      • Collaborate with teams to import data into Databricks (Client environment managed by SIS) and export data via SQL Views and Azure Synapse (managed by Eric).

 

 

Data Warehouse Management:

      • Develop and maintain the data warehouse, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
      • Implement strategies for data warehousing, including ETL processes and data modeling.

 

 

D365 Environment Data Extract Readiness:

      • Plan and implement data extraction processes using Dataverse and Azure Synapse Link.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure data readiness for D365 environments.

 

 

Best Practices and Optimization:

      • Stay updated with the latest best practices in data architecture and migration.
      • Engage with partners such as Accion to learn and implement best practices.
      • Continuously optimize data architecture for performance and cost-efficiency.

 

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

      • 5 to 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on data migration and architecture.

 

Technical Skills:

      • Proficiency in Azure Synapse, Databricks, and T-SQL.
      • Extensive experience with data migration tools and methodologies.
      • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

 

Architectural Skills:

      • Familiarity with current data migration architecture.
      • Experience with data extraction and readiness, particularly in D365 environments.

 

Soft Skills:

      • Excellent problem-solving skills.
      • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
      • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with PremiStar environment managed by SIS.
    • Familiarity with Accion best practices for data architecture and migration.
    • Knowledge of data governance and data quality management.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

This role is open to W2 or those seeking Corp-Corp employment. The salary range for this role is 130k-182k. For corp-Corp rates please contact the recruiter.
