Are you a DevSecOps engineer with at least 10 years of experience supporting software development tools and pipeline development? Do you want to be part of a team that is helping the government solve major national security challenges in the space domain? We need your help.

Our team is looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer and servant leader that has designed, implemented, and maintained DevSecOps solutions in support of enterprise software development and delivery. As the DevSecOps Lead for this high profile project, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of high performing DevSecOps engineers and evolving the DevSecOps toolchain to support the program. This position supports delivering mission critical capabilities to the space community through the development and support of robust DevSecOps tooling, pipelines, and secure, containerized deployments.

In this position, you will be a member of a growing Agile team supporting the development of critical mission applications for the space community as a member of Parsons' Space Operations Directorate. You will work with software engineers and space analysts to create space situational awareness solutions for the space domain stakeholder community. This position is located in Colorado Springs and requires working in the office at least 3 days per week.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of technical experience; relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
  • Ability to support and troubleshoot issues on common Operating Systems (e.g., MacOS, Windows, Linux)
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes operations, administration, and deployment of one or more distributions including AWS EKS, Rancher, Open Shift, Google GKE
  • Experience designing and implementing DevSecOps pipelines using common DevOps tools (e.g., Gitlab, Nexus, Artifactory, Harbor, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, Fortify)
  • Experience deploying and maintaining containerized applications in a Kubernetes environment using Helm
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to include services such as VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both spoken and written English

Desired Skills
  • Experience supporting software factories and related processes
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience effectively leading technical teams
  • Experience with application deployment in Docker Containers
  • Experience with Kubernetes networking and Istio service mesh
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with access management and client account technical support (OKTA, Windows Active Directory, DNS, Keycloak)
  • In-depth knowledge of Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) including front-end and administrative functions
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts (Firewall, WiFi, and VPN setup)
  • Experience deploying and configuring software in AWS GovCloud environments
  • Security+ certification
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Salary Range: $117,000.00 - $210,600.00
