JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a 6M C2H opportunity that is 100% remote.  The Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain the IT infrastructure.  The Infrastructure Engineer must possess expertise in server administration, virtualization platforms, M365, and Azure Services, with proficiency in hands-on PowerShell scripting.  The ideal Infrastructure Engineer will understand coding, IaC principles, and have some exposure to Terraform and DevOps practices.  The Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with the IT / Architecture Teams to ensure remain dependable, secure, and optimized for maximum productivity, while adhering to Agile workflow methodologies.

• IT Project Leadership – Lead / Participate in Infrastructure Projects / Server / Cloud / Virtualization – Ensuring On-Time / On-Budget Delivery
• IT Component Deployment – Oversee Deployment of Windows / Linux / Virtual Environments – Implementing Updates / Patches / Upgrades for Optimal Performance / Security
• Architecture Collaboration – Collaborate with Architecture Team to Design / Implement Scalable / Secure Solutions – Ensuring Alignment with Standards / Best Practices
• Cloud Technology Management – Manage Azure / M365 Services (InTune / PIM / EPM / Azure Stack) – Ensuring Effective Cloud Configuration / Operation
• Backup / Recovery Expertise – Utilize Veeam for Backup / Replication – Developing / Implementing DR Plans for Data Integrity / Business Continuity
• Scripting / Automation – Automate Tasks / Configuration via PowerShell / Scripting Languages – Supporting Infrastructure Efficiency / Consistency
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Implement / Manage Infrastructure with Terraform – Automating Deployment / Configuration Processes
• Agile Methodology Participation – Engage in Sprint Planning / Stand-Ups / Retrospectives – Supporting Agile Project Execution
• System Monitoring / Optimization – Set Up Monitoring Tools (e.g., Datadog / Site24x7) – Ensuring Infrastructure Performance / Reliability
