Job Details
Job Title:- Mainframe Developer
Duration:- 5-6 months
Location:- Philadelphia PA, USA,19103
Role includes 30% travel (T&E paid)
Responsibilities -
- Lead and mentor a team of mainframe developers and analysts.
- Provide technical guidance on mainframe technologies (e.g., COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM).
- Oversee code reviews, design sessions, and solution architecture.
- Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to define project scope and deliverables.
- Estimate effort, plan sprints, and allocate resources.
- Track progress and ensure timely delivery of mainframe solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and implement mainframe applications and enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Act as a point of contact for business and IT stakeholders regarding mainframe systems.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation and presentations.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of existing mainframe applications.
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance.
- Manage incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
