Client is a Strategic Partner for Global Alternate Mission Equipment and Sustainment
Client, a leading defense contractor, plays a crucial role in the development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles. Based in Southern California near the Los Angeles International Airport, Client consists of multiple business units specializing in engineering, testing, and systems development.
For over 60 years, Client has maintained "A Tradition of Excellence, serving as a trusted source for its unwavering commitment to supporting all branches of the Department of Defense and global allies. Their collaboration extends across a diverse array of programs and platforms, including major military prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.
The BA will report directly to the IT Application Manager and is responsible for providing Super User and end-user support related to operational issues, configuration & enhancement efforts, and key projects. The BA will provide best practice solutions to the business and training in SAP and should have solid knowledge and experience in business processes, problem-solving skills, and process improvements.
The BA will provide customer service, support issues, and ticket requests within SAP in one or more of the following functional areas:
- Contracts & BD
- Program Management
- Operations (backup for primary analyst)
- Depot
- Finance
- Order to cash process (SAP SD Module: contract, delivery, billing)
- Production planning process (SAP PP module)
- Depot process (SAP MRO process)
- Finance and Controlling processes (SAP module: FI/CO)
- Identify and implement improvements to SAP according to business requirements to increase process efficiencies.
- Interact with all levels of the company to ensure SAP meets organizational needs.
- Meet regularly with internal customers to document issues, gather new requirements, and respond effectively to business needs.
- BA/BS degree in related field (or 8+ years of professional work experience in lieu of a degree).
- Solid knowledge of business processes within current area of responsibility (preferably in SD, PP, FI/CO modules, or MRO process).
- Minimum of 8+ years of professional work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven effectiveness in business process documentation, process improvements, and problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be a self-starter with sound judgment and strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills and customer focus.
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle and Project Management practices.
- Familiarity with Lean principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must read/write/speak English.
- Medium-to-large office environment.
- Fast-paced, with moderate noise levels.
- Exposed to a combination of normal office-type environments.
