ERP Project Manager
Richmond, VA
.Hybrid - 2 days/week

We are seeking a highly experienced IT consultant to serve as the ERP Project Manager.
The selected professional will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle including requirements gathering, planning, vendor coordination, execution, and go-live while serving as the key point of coordination between internal business and technical teams and the external implementation partner.

The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, deep ERP expertise, and a strong background in managing large-scale IT initiatives within the public sector. Experience with financial systems, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and navigating government procurement and compliance requirements is essential to drive this mission-critical transformation to completion.

Progressive experience in IT project management, with at least 5+ years managing high-risk, high-budget ($XXM+) IT projects.
Proven exp with large-scale ERP, or financial software implementation projects with understanding of governmental (preferred) accounting practices.
Expertise in PM methodologies: Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid models.
ACTIVE PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (pls upload copy under Reference TAB)
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, Planview).
Executive-level communication and negotiation skills. and Strong political acumen and ability to navigate state agency landscapes.
High-level problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Demonstrated success in managing multi-agency and multi-vendor environments. Deep understanding of state procurement processes, contract negotiation
Ability to lead teams through transformational change and modernization initiatives.
Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).
