Program Director

A health services network in Massachusetts is actively seeking a new Program Director to join their growing team. In this role, the Program Director will lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of a net of new Microsoft Azure-based data platform implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the end-to-end implementation of a healthcare data lakehouse and analytics ecosystem using Microsoft Azure, including Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Power BI


• Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, IT, compliance) and external partners (Microsoft, EPIC, Workday) to align architecture, timelines, and deliverables


• Oversee the integration of clinical data from EHR systems (e.g., EPIC) using HL7, FHIR, and other interoperability standards to support longitudinal patient records


• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11 standards


• Develop and enforce data governance policies and security frameworks


• Lead cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, analysts, and clinical informaticists


• Provide mentorship and foster a culture of innovation and accountability


• Support the implementation of AI/ML tools and advanced analytics pipelines to enhance clinical decision-making and operational efficiency


• Drive adoption through structured change management, training, and stakeholder engagement programs

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of Program Management for system implementations


• PMP certification


• Experience managing data or analytics programs in healthcare or life sciences


• Experience leading cloud-based implementations, preferably with Microsoft Azure.


• Proven experience integrating EPIC EHR systems using HL7/FHIR


• Strong understanding of Clinical Data models, Interoperability frameworks, and healthcare regulations
