Job Title: Project Manager - Data Background
Location: Miani, FL (Hybrid) 3 Days Onsite 2 Days Remote
Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the migration of enterprise data management solutions from Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) / Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IACS). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale data migration projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for the migration from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC/IACS.

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with governance and security standards.

  • Track project progress using Agile/Waterfall methodologies, preparing regular status updates and executive dashboards.

  • Oversee testing, validation, and cutover activities for smooth transition with minimal business disruption.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy, quality, and cloud adoption initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of IT project management experience with at least 5+ years in Data Management / Data Integration projects.

  • Strong hands-on experience managing Informatica PowerCenter to Cloud (IDMC/IACS) migrations.

  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and data quality frameworks.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid data ecosystems.

  • Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, etc.).

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

  • PMP / CSM certification preferred.
