Job Title: IT Financial Analyst/FinOps Analyst


Location: Remote Role in the USA


Duration: 06 Months (Extension based on performance)


Pay Rate: ($43-$45) hourly


Note: Looking for someone who understands both IT infrastructure and finance, can use tools like ServiceNow/Apptio effectively, manage and optimize cloud costs, and deliver clear financial insights and improvements.

About the Role:




  • FinOps Analyst with knowledge of traditional on-prem infrastructure (server, mainframe, storage) to identify cost savings opportunities, track benefits, and report.




  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, CMDB, infrastructure chargeback models, AWS services & billing, Azure services & billing.




  • Strong financial analysis background with problem-solving skills, and ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.




  • Experience with financial analytics, driving process, and data improvements.




  • Provide variance analysis comparing actual spend versus plan and forecast.




  • Perform and coordinate project-based financial analysis and modeling to support reporting of the operations and capital spend.




  • Support the Annual planning and monthly/quarterly forecasting process.




  • Support the monthly close process, including accruals.




  • Create recurring or ad-hoc reports and models for the purpose of allowing management to make data-driven decisions.




  • ServiceNow and Apptio experience.




  • Must have very strong Excel and reporting skills.
