job summary:

This IT support role requires 5-7 years of experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues across manufacturing and corporate environments, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of technical problems. The position involves providing high-level support for various devices and applications, collaborating with IT teams, and maintaining service continuity during extended hours, including after-hours on-call rotations. It is a contractor role lasting up to four months, emphasizing strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.

responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly to keep operations running smoothly.


2. Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices for staff across different departments.


3. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless problem resolution and service continuity.


4. Document solutions, create knowledge base articles, and help improve internal IT processes.




qualifications:

1. 5-7 years of experience in IT support or service desk roles, ideally supporting both hardware and software.


2. Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and mobile devices (iOS, Android).


3. Experience with networking, VPNs, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and remote troubleshooting tools.


4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
