Senior Network Engineer - Cloud

NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to develop a cloud network infrastructure. The goal is to craft a reliable, scalable and efficient network to support NVIDIA software development workflows and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, compute resource management flow and developer productivity tools. The network is serving the needs across the whole software stack for NVIDIA from Graphics Drivers to Autonomous Vehicles to Deep Learning frameworks. To achieve this goal, we are looking for an engineer who has a deep understanding of L3 underlay and overlay networks, outstanding design skills and a track record in building and delivering large-scale networks.

What you will be doing:

• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our cloud network infrastructure including intra-DC, inter-DC, Corp IT, and Internet connectivity. Implement, manage and troubleshoot entire network stacks. Contribute to the automation of network infrastructure end-to-end including provisioning, management and monitoring.
• Designing, building, deploying, and operating/maintaining large scale IP Networking Technologies and protocols such as: MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSEC, DNS, MACsec.
• Multiple opportunities to deploy your expertise relating to Peering and Datacenter interconnect technologies: PNI, Transit, Exchange, Passive DWDM, Wave circuits.
• Daily chances to utilize your creativity in designing and implementing networks at scale, such as automated deployments (e.g., ZTP).

What we need to see:

• 5+ years of a demonstrated ability in networking, especially experience in Arista switches
• MS or BS Degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to write and understand Python/Shell scripts and programs for automation, tools, frameworks, dashboards, alarms.
• Familiarity with Arista, Cumulus OS, Fortinet OS, Juniper, and Cisco.
• Working with network virtualization such as: VRFs, VXLAN
• Expert in the field of networking, especially in underlay network.
• Strong track record of implementing network services in a variety of distributed computing environments.
• Hands-on experience with high performance network and network optimization in highly-available, large-scale, multisite, international environments.
• Hands-on background with building tooling and automation for provisioning, monitoring, and managing the network infrastructure.
• Great communication and presentation skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• You have architected, built, and deployed a network for a large scale (1000s of machines) in the past, used by 1000s of people.
• Familiar with designing, building, and maintaining within CSP environments, POPs, and large scale WANs.

The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 264,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
