Testing Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Testing Architect for a hybrid, onsite, contract to hire opportunity with a large client in downtown Kansas City, MO.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain basic-level domain reference architecture
* The Testing Architect will participate in cross domain reference architecture development
* Serve as the domain architecture consultant for development teams
* Participate in architecture reviews
* Manage architecture exceptions for domain
* Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies that include automated, manual, performance, and security testing
* Design and maintain scalable testing frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
* Work closely with development teams to integrate testing practices into the software development lifecycle
* The Testing Architect will establish and enforce quality standards and metrics for software quality assurance
* Lead and mentor a team of test engineers and ensure alignment with the organization's testing goals

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's egree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 3+ years of engineering experience in Domain (Business, Information, Applications, Technology Infrastructure) and industry-standard testing methodologies and best practices
* 3+ years of experience in producing design documentation, patterns, standards, or specifications
* Basic understanding of domain architecture
* Proficiency in various testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and LoadRunner
* Programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
* Ability to design and implement automated testing solutions
* Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure devops tools
* Ability to understand and address application issues including integrations and connectivity
* Able to develop and maintain good relationships with stakeholders and vendor representatives
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and identify root causes
* Ability to mentor team members
* Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing
* Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
* Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
